At Heathside, closely monitoring the academic and developmental journey of each pupil is a cornerstone of our commitment. We prioritise maintaining open lines of communication between teachers and parents, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances every child’s growth.
We believe in keeping parents informed about their child’s progress. For Early Years pupils (Reception and below), a comprehensive written report is provided annually, offering valuable insights into their academic and personal development. Key Stage 1 pupils (Years 1 & 2) benefit from two written reports each year, ensuring a thorough understanding of their achievements and growth. Our older learners (Key Stage 2 and above) receive written reports every term, providing a consistent overview of their progress.
These reports encompass all subjects the child is engaged in and are thoughtfully crafted by their dedicated class and subject teachers.
We understand the significance of face-to-face interactions. Regular Parents’ Evenings offer a platform for parents to engage directly with class and subject teachers. This valuable exchange of insights allows parents to gain a deeper understanding of their child’s journey, strengths, and areas of focus.
At Heathside, we’re committed to addressing any concerns in a timely and personalised manner. Should any matters require in-depth discussion, parents can arrange meetings with the class teacher or the respective Deputy Head throughout the year. This proactive approach ensures that every child’s needs are met, fostering a supportive partnership between home and school.
We value the importance of staying connected and informed as we collectively nurture the growth of our pupils. Through reports, Parents’ Evenings, and ongoing dialogue, Heathside School Hampstead creates a nurturing educational journey that thrives on collaboration and understanding.
