At Heathside School Hampstead, we are renowned for our commitment to excellence and creativity in education. As we continue to honour this, we are delighted to announce that we are embarking on a series of exciting projects this summer to enhance our learning environment and provide students with an even more stimulating experience. With a focus on maximising space and incorporating innovative play equipment, we aim to create a truly exceptional setting for its students to thrive.
One of the key areas of improvement is the refurbishment of both playgrounds. We plan to revamp these spaces, ensuring they are optimised for educational and recreational purposes. By introducing captivating play equipment and maximising the use of available space, we aim to foster an atmosphere that encourages active play, social interaction, and imaginative exploration. Notably, the larger playground will feature an impressive climbing wall, adding an exhilarating dimension to outdoor play.
Recognising the importance of early childhood education, we have also prioritised the complete refurbishment of its Early Years rooms. Headteacher, Nadia Ward, recently met with designers who are brimming with innovative ideas to bring these rooms up to industry-leading standards. The envisioned transformation will imbue the spaces with a sense of lightness, modernity, and airiness, providing an optimal environment for the youngest learners to develop their skills and knowledge. Moreover, a remarkable addition to the lower ground floor will be a ‘wow’ room specifically designed for sensory play and physical development, benefiting children from the Nursery to Reception.
Further enhancements are in store for the school’s creative hub, which will undergo redevelopment to better utilise the space available. This revamped area will not only facilitate creativity but will also include an state-of-the-art ICT suite accessible to students of all ages. By embracing technology and offering modern resources, Heathside School Hampstead aims to equip its students with the necessary digital literacy skills, preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century.
With these ambitious summer projects, we are reaffirming our dedication to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. The investment in the school’s infrastructure underscores Heathside and Dukes Education‘s commitment to creating a stimulating environment that fosters academic growth, social interaction, and holistic development.
Headteacher, Nadia Ward, has is incredibly excited about the forthcoming transformations, stating, “We are thrilled to be embarking on these exciting projects, which will elevate our school to new heights. By investing in state-of-the-art facilities and innovative play areas, we are creating an environment that not only supports academic achievement but also promotes well-rounded development. We look forward to unveiling these improvements to our students and the wider community when they return in the new academic year.”
As the summer holidays approach, our school is abuzz with anticipation. The upcoming transformations promise to deliver an educational environment that inspires, empowers, and encourages students to reach their full potential. The school’s investment is a testament to its unwavering commitment to excellence from the Heathside team and Dukes Education, ensuring that each student receives the best possible education and experiences that will positively shape their future.
